Maria Elisa (Mari) Marini is a sophomore at Carrollton. This is her second year writing for The Beat. In addition to being an active member of the Carrollton performing arts program, she is a member of the novice debate team and campus ministry. She is excited to collaborate with the other staff writers and write new stories for the newspaper.
